The scheme, which has been in operation since April 2016, was designed to meet two key objectives:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Improve ATOL reporting<\/li>\n<li>Promote and ensure the provision of accurate information on behalf of ATOL holders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>An accountant must undertake specialist training, before acting as an ATOL Reporting Accountant (ARA).
