On Wednesday 15 March, Chancellor Jeremy Hunt delivered his first Spring Budget, following a number of fiscal statements towards the end of 2022.
The number one priority was to deliver some form of stability in respect of policy, and the focus was largely on the Office for Budget Responsibility’s improved economic forecasts. Time will tell if their optimism is justified.
