Making Tax Digital (MTD) remains one of the government’s flagship initiatives and, most recently, more information about where exactly the program is headed has been shared.
Whilst only affecting VAT-registered businesses to date, HMRCs intention is to eventually digitalise all taxes. In light of this, getting to grips with the requirements and exploring MTD-compliant software, before it becomes compulsory, is advisable.
