We are delighted to announce the 1st April 2024 saw the launch of GH Wills Ltd.
This was in response to client demand. In recent years, our Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning service has been expanding. HMRC are now collecting substantially more IHT than ever before, hence the need for planning.
2024 is the 10th anniversary of us being allowed to carry out probate work and our recent year end saw us achieve a record number of instructions, nearly half of which had no prior connection to George Hay.
The missing element was the Will writing. As part of IHT planning, tax efficient Wills are always important. Quite often after receiving our advice, it was necessary for a Will to be rewritten (or even written where one did not exist). Our clients kept saying they wished that we wrote Wills so they could keep everything under one roof.
Hence the launch of our new Will company.
Our Wills are backed by a qualified Will practitioner and we are able to prepare the Wills to meet the planning advised, or simply to meet a client request.
We explain a fixed price menu at the start of the process and then ensure the individual’s wishes are taken into account. Our team includes two Chartered Tax Advisers so you can be assured your Wills are tax compliant.
