As lockdown restrictions begin to ease gradually, we are pleased to report that our team is back to full capacity albeit still working from home wherever possible.

So, as we start to think about getting back to ‘normal’, we asked some of our colleagues what they’re most looking forward to post-lockdown. Here’s what they said:

Ashleigh, Marketing Manager: “I’m most looking forward to spending as much time as possible with family and friends, a weekend break somewhere in the UK and, after having to postpone our wedding because of Coronavirus, hopefully getting married later this year!”

Becky, Bookkeeping: “I’m looking forward to having a family holiday, with some close friends, on the Isle of Wight. Like many others, we’ve been working from home since lockdown started and so a change of scenery will be lovely!”

Ryan, Trainee Accountant: “I would say I’m most looking forward to meeting up with friends more often (maybe at the pub) and the barbers re-opening so I can get a much needed haircut!”

Hayley, Chartered Accountant: “I am really missing live music, we had lots of gigs planned this year which have all been cancelled. I’m looking forward to attending events like that again.”

James, Trainee Accountant: “I’m most looking forward to being able to sit in a pub garden again and, hopefully, start playing football!”

Jordan, Trainee Accountant: “I’m looking forward to making up for lost time with my partner, friends and grandparents who live 3 hours away. I also celebrated my 21st birthday in lockdown and had several plans cancelled so I’ll hopefully be able to have a weekend in Newcastle to celebrate with all my friends and, best of all, actually get around to booking my birthday present from my partner – a trip to New York!! I am also looking forward to getting back to teaching my gymnasts – I’m hoping they have still been practicing otherwise I will have lots of work to do!”

Joe, Chartered Accountant: “As restrictions have begun to be lifted, I have enjoyed being able to be back on the golf course. I am also looking forward to be being able to spend more time with family and friends soon, as well as going out for dinner!”
