Job Title: Audit & Accounts Partner (with or working towards RI status)

Role Purpose: Lead and grow an accounts portfolio within a well-established accountancy practice. Provide technical oversight, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to business strategy and client growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation of financial accounts (limited companies, partnerships, sole traders) ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide strategic business advisory services; identify opportunities for improving clients’ financial performance.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships; identify new business opportunities for the firm.
- Lead business development, generating new connections
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of auditors/accountants.
- Collaborate with other Partners to shape firm strategy and growth.
- Prepare/review audit and accounts reports; ensure accuracy, timeliness and adherence to deadlines.

Experienced Roles
We currently have an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The position is full-time and will be based at our Letchworth office.
You will become part of our bookkeeping team, and so responsible for supporting our diverse client base with their bookkeeping needs. The work will be varied, to include:
- Maintaining purchase ledger/sales ledger
- Cash account and bank reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns
- General bookkeeping duties, to include the use of various in-house and cloud accounting software
As you develop in your role there will be opportunity to take on more responsibility, to become more client-facing and to support our clients in a more advisory capacity.
Candidates should possess at least 2 ‘A’ levels at grade A – C. GCSE English and Maths at a minimum of grade 6 (B).
Applicants should be extremely numerate, have excellent communication and IT skills (working knowledge of Excel and Word etc.), and work well alongside other people. The candidate should have the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining high levels of accuracy. A driving licence would be beneficial.

Private Client Legal (Probate & Estates)
We currently have a vacancy for a Probate & Estates Assistant at our Huntingdon office, to support our busy Probate and Wills departments.
The position is available for an immediate start; however, we appreciate that it may be necessary for a successful applicant to work their notice under an existing contract of employment.
Responsibilities will include:
- File management and maintenance of accurate records
- Regular Interaction with clients and HMRC as necessary
- General administrative responsibilities conducive with role
- Work with fee earners to contribute towards the day to day running of matters effectively and efficiently
- Supporting colleagues in all aspects of client service
Key competencies required:
- Strong IT skills
- Detail-oriented and good organisational skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Personable and empathetic manner
- Work well as part of a team
Hours will be dependent on applicant, but we are looking to recruit for between 20 hours per week – 37.5 hours per week (full-time). Please specify the hours that you would be interested in working in your application. Term-time only may be an option and can be discussed at interview stage.
