On 30 October, Rachel Reeves delivered her first Autumn Budget; one that did tinker with some tax policy, but perhaps not to the extent that had been rumoured in the lead up to the event.
In the days immediately after the Budget, we held two briefing sessions for our clients and contacts. Both our evening session at Edworth Manor, and our breakfast session at Brampton Park Golf Club, had packed audiences who were keen to learn more about how the announcements would affect them.
