Practical guidance on Probate and Wills: Seminar highlights and future events

We were pleased to recently host a probate and wills seminar, bringing together individuals who wanted to better understand the importance of planning ahead and putting the right arrangements in place for the future.

The session covered a range of practical topics, including why having an up-to-date will matters, what can happen when someone dies without one, and how effective estate planning can help protect loved ones and ensure wishes are clearly understood. We also discussed the probate process, the responsibilities involved when administering an estate, and some of the common issues families may face at what is often an already difficult time.

A key theme throughout the seminar was the value of taking advice early. Conversations around wills, probate and inheritance can feel daunting, but making plans in good time can provide reassurance, reduce uncertainty and help make sure that family members are supported when they need it most.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion. We hope those who joined us found the session informative and helpful, whether they were reviewing existing arrangements, starting to think about estate planning for the first time, or supporting someone else through the probate process.

Following the interest in this event, we are considering hosting another probate and wills seminar in the Autumn. Whilst we haven’t yet confirmed a venue or date, it is likely to be local to our Huntingdon office. If this is something you, a family member or someone you know may find useful, we would encourage you to keep an eye out for further details or register your interest with our team.
