This month we took a break from the numbers, closing ouroffices for a morning to host our Annual Staff Away Day at the historical Buckden Towers.
The event provided a perfect setting for partners to review the past year’s achievements and discuss strategic plans for the future, emphasising the practice of delivering on promises, much like they advise their clients to do.
The day wasn’t all business, however. Staff and partners engaged in a thrilling “George Hay Murder Mystery” challenge, where teams worked together to solve puzzles and unravel the mystery to unlock a briefcase.
Despite none of the teams cracking the case, the activity was met with laughter and enthusiastic participation, underscoring the firm’s focus on teamwork and problem-solving in a fun environment.
The morning of activities concluded with a delightful lunch, allowing everyone to unwind and socialise.
This annual gathering not only fosters a strong sense of community within the firm but also reinforces our commitment to its staff’s professional and personal development.
