Jamie joined the firm as Tax Director in February 2026, having worked previously for both a local established accountancy firm, and most recently a mid-tier national firm.
An interest in business and finance led him naturally to pursue a career in accountancy, which led him to specialise in personal tax.
Jamie is both a Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with years of experience advising high-net worth individuals, private clients and SME business owners in respect of their financial and tax affairs.
He also specialises in assisting families with estate planning, and advises on the tax implications of passing on intergenerational wealth, to include Inheritance Tax (IHT), Trusts and Family Investment Company vehicles, as well as advising business owners on succession and the tax implications of exiting a business.
Jamie will oversee the tax advisory support being offered to clients, in respect of both their personal and business tax affairs, ensuring that any tax planning accounts for changes to policy and legislation.
Outside of his professional life, Jamie is a keen sports fan and particularly enjoys football and boxing. He also likes to find time to travel around the UK!
